Thefts of Engines locally – Please read information from Dyfed Powys Police

Good afternoon all,

I hope you are all well. By now I will have had the opportunity to have a chat to several of you about the following

I am writing to you all in relation to raising your awareness of several recent thefts of boat engines in the Pembrokeshire area and for yourselves and your service users to heighten their vigilance. My objective is simply to encourage all local boat owners to take whatever steps are necessary to ensure that their property is kept safely and securely.

I would therefore ask if you could circulate this message to any persons that you know who need to be aware of the recent thefts so that they take the appropriate security measures. I will be posting a similar message of social media within the next day or two so I would be grateful if you could “keep your eyes out for this” on Twitter (@DPPMilfordHaven) and Facebook (Milford Haven and Neyland Police).

Is this something that you could help with by passing on my email? I am hopeful that you would be able to forward the message to anyone else that you feel would need to know.

This information has been forwarded to Milford Yacht Club, Milford Marina, Neyland Marina, Neyland Yacht Club, Dale Yacht Club and Rudders Boat Yard – The above is for your own information and I would be greatly appreciated if you could forward the message about recent boat engine thefts and the need to be vigilant to all of your berth holders, service users etc.

Thank you all for your continued support. It’s greatly appreciated by the team.

Regards

Neil
