The slip at Gellyswick Bay is a public slip owned by the Local Authority. Use of the slip is free. The slip stretches all the way down to the sand and can be used at any state of the tide. Once down on the sand it is flat and quite firm and it is possible to drive over the sand with vehicles. Remember with the sand being flat boats will have to be pushed a long way into the water to float off. On neap tides the water does not leave the slip.
