Pembrokeshire Yacht Club calls out for votes to bag a share of Tesco’s bag fund

Pembrokeshire Yacht Club is bidding to bag a massive cash boost from the Tesco Bags of Help initiative.
Tesco teamed up with Groundwork to launch its community funding scheme, which sees grants of £4,000, £2,000 and £1,000 raised from carrier bag sales in Tesco stores awarded to local community projects.
Three groups in every Tesco region have been shortlisted to receive the cash award and shoppers are being invited to head along to Tesco stores to vote for who they think should take away the top grant.
Thanks to some of the members within the Club, Pembrokeshire Yacht Club is one of the groups on the shortlist and is therefore guaranteed £1,000. Please help us achieve as big a grant as possible by ensuring you ask for a Blue token from the cashier every time you spend in the store and pop it into our slot.
We are trying to improve some of the water based activities at the Club and any money from this grant will be used to improve the rowing facilities.
Voting is open in the Milford Haven Tesco store only from 1st January to 1st March 2019.
