Pembrokeshire Yacht Club PYC Covid Update – 21st July 2020
Good morning all, exciting news…
The Yacht Club will soon re-open it’s Bar.
The Committee had a meeting last night to go through all the government guidelines and have come up with a plan and suitable risk assessment in order to re-open the bar for the membership.
There will as one could imagine be strict protocol to follow in order to keep the staff and members safe, but information on these new PYC Covid rules will follow in due course.
But the good news first – we will firstly open the bar FOR OUTSIDE DRINKING ONLY on Friday 31st July through to Sunday 2nd August.
The opening times we will be running are Friday 7pm-11pm, Saturday 5pm-10pm and Sunday 3pm-9pm.
The following weekend, Friday 7th August the Club we are then permitted to allow members to enjoy a drink INSIDE the Club house also.
Obviously things will be very different, and in order to comply with government guidelines we will have to limit numbers inside, so we will be operating a table booking system where social bubbles can sit and enjoy a drink together but at a safe distance from other social bubbles.
Your help and understanding will be required to make this work and we will have a extra member of staff on hand to help you understand and comply with these new rules.
We are really looking forward to seeing old and new members back at PYC.
