The 2008 Sail Training programme will commence in April and run through to September. The sail training for the 8 - 16 year olds will take place every Tuesday evenings from 6pm. Do you have or know of any children ( friends, neighbours, etc ) in this age group who would be interested in learning to sail? If so please contact Christian Smart by Email:- smartrimmer@aol.comAdults:- It is planned to hold at least one training weekend for adults if you are interested or know somebody who may be interested contact Christian by email at the above address or mobile 07966 505767.

Racing takes place every Friday evening at 7pm with a mixed fleet of boats ranging from Optimist & Toppers to Iso's and RS 600's, and there is also an 18 foot skiff in the compound that goes out now and again.
At the moment we have a good fleet of 7+ Blaze dinghies and are actively trying to encourage people into buying these so that we can hopefully establish a top-notch one-design fleet, which will help produce a higher standard of sailing at the club.

But remember all boats are welcome!

Our facilities are also very good, no doubt the best in the area, with large changing rooms with both gas and electric showers in each, plus a large compound where you can store your boat at sensible rates.

If you're not tempted yet, come down to Gelliswick Bay and take a look for yourself. You will not be disappointed!
